Leaf Pick Up: April 8 & 9, Leaves must be placed to allow easy access for pick-up, but at least 10 feet away from poles, cars and other obstructions. The Borough will NOT come across your property.
Brush Pick Up: April 15 for the East side of Pa Ave., April 16 for the West side of Pa Ave. See special notes.
Riff Raff/Bulk Items Days: May 7 for the East side of Pa Ave. and May 8 for the West side of Pa Ave. No papers, leaves, brush, large truck tires, or tractor tires. All items must be curbside by 8am on pick up day.

Brush Pick Up Special Notes: Brush will be picked up Tuesday, Apr. 15 for residents of East of Pennsylvania Ave. and West of Pennsylvania Ave. on Wednesday, April 16. Brush must be curbside by 8am each day of pickup. There will be no second time around. Tree branches do not need to be cut short. If tree trunks are greater than 8 inches in diameter, the property owners must make other arrangements to haul the tree trunk away. Please stack brush with butt ends toward the road and cut to a size to go through the shredder. Small branches need to be bundled up and tied with a string. NO WIRE. Shrub trimmings; (thorn bushes, rose bushes and grapevines); are NOT brush and should be composted or properly disposed of by the property owner. Phone the Borough office for information on where to take them. All trees on Borough or State right-of-ways are maintained by the Borough.

134th Annual Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair - August 21-28, 2008 - Grange Park

Centre Hall Area Woman's Club Monthly Meeting is each month at the Centre Hall Fire Hall. All ladies from the Centre Hall-Potter Township are invited to attend the meeting and join our organization. For more information, contact Donna Coursen at 364-2488.

Penns Valley Area Knitting Group, meets the Second and Fourth Thursdays of each month at the Centre Hall Library, 6 to 8 p.m.
This informal group is for knitters of all experience and age levels -- including new knitters. We will share knitting ideas, help each other solve knitting problems, sit and knit, have show and tell and enjoy each other's company. Bring along your knitting and sit back and relax twice a month and knit, knit, knit. Programs will be scheduled on a request-only basis from those attending.
